Parasites are more common than most people realize. They can cause a huge number of unpleasant symptoms and health problems. Symptoms can be fatigue, Constipation, diarrhea, vomiting, heartburn, cramping, insomnia, grinding of teeth, skin issues, headaches, itching and so much more.
A parasite is an organism that lives in or on a host and will get its food source from the host … and this host will suffer. Tapeworm, flukes, hookworms, pinworms or threadworms, trichinella are common to humans, to name just a few.
Parasites can usually be picked up from eating food or drinking water that have been contaminated or eating undercooked meat from an infected animal. Contact with contaminated feces, poor sanitation, poor hygiene as well. However, those who have an imbalanced microbiome or gut flora issues (which also includes leaky gut syndrome and weakened immune systems) would be more susceptible and more difficult to fight off.
We’ve also talked about high and low frequencies and our health in other discussions. Parasites are basically low vibrational and low vibration is something that’s never healthy. Parasites do not thrive in healthy bodies. They love and thrive in sick bodies. They can never penetrate a clean host.
For the past while we have talked a lot about symptoms and body reactions. Oftentimes, symptoms that are common of parasites can also be symptoms of deficiencies an illness has. However, that also could be directly due to parasites growing in the body. Here’s a list:
- constipation
- diarrhea
- gas, bloating
- IBS
- muscle and joint pain
- anemia
- allergies
- skin conditions – which would include irritation, itching in the nose, ears, eyes, anus, rashes, hives, and eczema.
- tumors
- craving junk food and not wanting to even eat vegetables.
- nervousness and anxiety
- sleep problems
- grinding your teeth
- chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia
- foggy thinking
- headaches
- runny nose or sinus problems
- weak appetite
- having a bad taste in the mouth
- fever
- dark areas under the eyes
- yeast and candida infections (and if they return)
There are many ways to get rid of parasites. One of the ways is from many foods that help to kill off parasites. So, let’s list a few. One of my favourites are most definitely garlic and onions. Added to these are:
- Pumpkin seeds
- Carrots
- Coconut oil
- Oregano
- Ginger
- Papaya (and papaya seeds)
- Apple cider vinegar with the mother
- Turmeric
- Black pepper (which is also a best combination with turmeric)
- Ceylon or true cinnamon
- Cloves
- Extra virgin first cold-pressed olive oil and organic virgin coconut oil
- Lemon and lemon peel
- Cruciferous and bitter green vegetables
If one consumes the typical standard American diet or SAD, it’s most likely there would be a need to be cleaning out from possible parasites.
Something parasites hate is the level of high oxygen that are found in leafy greens. This would be what you would consider chlorophyll. Chlorophyll is highly oxygenated. Oxygen, when used properly, kills bacteria. It alkalizes the system when we breathe it in and utilize it properly. Chlorophyll will clean out any type of diseased tissue and waste, which includes parasites, viruses, and bacteria that feed on them. Parasites also hate minerals. Remember minerals have an alkalizing effect. The more we consume mineral dense greens and fresh organic fruits and vegetables, the more we heighten our vibrational level and keep our systems healthy and clean.
What we need to do is stop consuming high amount of animal products. Poorly cooked meat, fish, seafood, and shellfish are usually full of parasitic eggs and cysts. Therefore, it’s not always recommended to eat them raw. I do understand that many love pig products and anything made with pork, however I highly recommend limiting these meats as well because the pig has trichinella that, no matter how high the heat is when cooking, it is one type of parasite that cannot be killed after cooking. It has been known to create infection in the brain, among other infections that start in the intestines.
Eating plenty of raw fruit and vegetables is another beautiful way to cleanse the system of parasites. Therefore, it is encouraged to consume raw vegetables as much as possible while on the Reset Your Health program, and after as part of your healthy lifestyle. Of course, you may want to sometimes cook your vegetables. But raw (or lightly steamed) is best because of the enzymes that are present. The nutritional benefits are not killed off in the cooking process.
Further, the liver needs to be looked after. The Reset Your Health program is designed in such a way, along with the homoeopathic formulas and the other supplements as well if one chooses to use them, helps the liver. Parasites hate bile – it’s lethal for them. When the liver doesn’t function properly the bile will be reduced, and this will then allow for a parasitic infestation. To cleanse the liver one of the best things you can do is consume all the dark bitter greens and liver cleansing herbs and fruits. When the bile flow improves, it will destroy an infestation of parasites. Things like dandelion root tea or dandelion greens, burdock, beets, and beet tops are some things that clean and heal your liver while cleaning your blood and lymph system, thereby killing off parasites.
Incorporate eating more raw garlic and onions in your diet because they provide you with sulfur, which contain amino acids, which are highly antiparasitic. So go ahead and make a beautiful leafy green salad with celery, red onion, garlic, lemon! Also, you can juice or blend these as well (blending most preferable as all material is intact. In fact, blending the entire lemon with its peel is most beneficial due to the essential oils in the peel.).
Combinations such as oil of oregano with lemon in a glass of water also helps to destroy parasites.
Coconut oil is rich in antiparasitic, antifungal, and antimicrobial properties that can help fight against and efficiently remove ‘invaders’ from your body – a natural, safe, and effective way to remove harmful pests in your body as well as externally.
Also having a high high-quality pro biotic because probiotics are an excellent way too get rid of and destroy and hostile worms. If one incorporates that into their diet daily it can literally get rid of parasites such as hookworm period now that said if you eat a clean diet, and you keep your system healthy you may not need to necessarily have a probiotic daily. As we’ve to also talked about before you also want to make sure of the quality of the probiotic and the different strains and the uses and their needs. Which is why it is recommended that you have someone who knows your health and the product itself to be able to use it properly. There are many foods that are fermented that are also great for the gut flora such as sauerkraut and kimchi and things like this.
Also, there are specific types of herbs that are considered antiparasitic such as thyme, pau d’arco, burdock, wormwood, cloves, and black walnut, to name a few.
Removing the wrong types of foods from the diet will also help you clean out from parasites. Specific food allergens that parasites love are things like soy (processed), wheat, eggs, dairy. However, these food items in themselves are not unhealthy. But our food industry makes them unhealthy. If you do not know the source of these products is where the problem lies. These foods can be filled with antibiotics, other drugs, infection, feces, poor soil that things have been grown in, and so on. However, these foods should be consumed less. They can trigger all kinds of illnesses and disorders such as hormone imbalance, MS, IBS, cancer, mucus production, and more. So literally, if you want to thrive, it would be good to eliminate them from your diet.
Another thing would be pumpkin seeds. Pumpkin seeds are known to deworm your system. Of course, there are herbal remedies in concentrated formats for that purpose, however you can also eat raw pumpkin seeds when you soak them and sprout them for a couple of days. This will help eliminate a variety of worms.
To prevent intestinal worms, make sure that you always wash your hands with soap and hot water before and after using the bathroom, and before preparing or eating foods.
Practice food safety. Here are some food and safety hygiene tips:
- Avoid raw fish and meat.
- Thoroughly cook your meats to temperatures have at least 145 degrees Fahrenheit for whole cuts of meat and 160 degrees Fahrenheit for ground meat and poultry.
Let your cooked meat rest for three minutes before carving or consuming.
- Freeze fish or meat 2 – 4 degrees Fahrenheit for at least 24 hours
- Be sure to thoroughly wash the skin of all your fruits and vegetables. This includes fruits such as melons and anything with peels. They should not just be washed with water. One does not know where they have been sitting when being transported to stores and what has been in contact with them in storage. It’s a good idea to soak your fruits and vegetables after washing, in a vinegar or salt solution, or a safe fruit and veggie wash, such as Alka-Vie products.
- Wash or reheat any food that also falls on the floor. The 3-second rule isn’t hygienically safe to follow.
The more energy the body uses on digestion, the less energy we have for healing and repair. By following the Reset Your Health program you are allowing for healing and repair to take place. Intermittent fasting stimulates the autophagy process, which restricts viral infections in the replication of intracellular parasites. This catabolic process helps the body rid itself of intracellular pathogens as well as abnormal cancer cell development.
We need energy for several different systems of the body including the digestive system, the immune system, tissue regeneration, and physical movement such as kinetics, mental focus, etc. We have a certain amount of energy that remains constant to do all these things. Parasites literally with suck all your energy and nutrition right out of your body. Healing ourselves on this program is the best thing one can do.
Please always try to remember that what we consume can either encourage parasitic infestation or prevent them access and/or kick them out. They may seem like these little, tiny worms that are part of our ecosystem, but these little creatures are not designed to stay in our bodies. There must be a balance of everything from within and if we continuously abuse our health and our diets, we will weaken our immune system and we will not be a healthy host. The biggest, most important aspect is making sure your immune system is strong to be able to fight off any invaders. So, while it is true that we don’t sometimes know if we have picked up something, because at times it is possible that having parasites can go unnoticed for months or even years, we are bound to come in contact with something, or eat or drink something contaminated. But there are ways to clear it out of the system, and by having a very strong immune system is one of the first and foremost necessities. Intermittent fasting can help with this as we mentioned earlier, because it helps your body to rid itself of any intracellular pathogens and will help to restrict viral infections in replication of intracellular parasites. The body is an amazing machine, so to speak, and if you take good care of it, you body will love you back.
Until next time. Wishing you the best in health!
